Mission Statement:

The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to collect, analyze, and furnish data and information on varying attributes of the College to support decision-making and planning efforts and to assist in assessment and evaluation efforts. The Office functions in a pivotal role to integrate data and information from the College and other sources to further its mission.

Goals and objectives:

Collect and maintain specific data from both academic and administrative departments, students and peer institutions.

Coordinate and prepare data and reports for Sweet Briar College, as well as state and federal agencies.

Respond to ad hoc requests for data and information from both internal and external sources.

Produce Common Data Set.
